IRAN 2026 – CUP POOL This song was created immediately after January 8 and 9, 2026, before the full scale of the tragedy was known. Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi had called on the people to take to the streets together on January 8 and 9. Millions of Iranians answered his call. Across the country, people rose up at the same time, demanding freedom and an end to the Islamic Republic. The regime responded with a brutal massacre. People were shot, injured, and arrested. At the same time, the internet was shut down so the world could not see what was happening in Iran. For this song, I used original recordings from the demonstrations: the real voices, chants, and cries of the people in the streets. I produced the track within two days, directly under the impact of those images and voices, without knowing at the time the historic and tragic scale these two nights would take on. “IRAN 2026” is dedicated to those who were killed, injured, imprisoned, and to all the courageous people who answered the call and stood up for the freedom of Iran. Their voices must never be silenced.
